Valais = Snow cover guaranteed thanks to high altiude and our glaciers! Despite global warming and milder winters Valais remains a region that is able to guarantee snow cover. The majority of our winter resorts are situated at over 1500 metres altitude and 9 ski regions lie at over 3000 metres.
